Wilier Imperiale Frame (2006)
Celebrating 100 years of making the Finest Italian Frames, Wilier started a small workshop along the banks of the river Brenta near Trieste. Gaining a reputation of quality craftsmanship & the early use of Chromium and Nickel-plating, the company now has a purpose-built factory in Rossan Veneto, producing 13,000 bikes a year. It is one of the 2 Premier Road Bikes Brands in Italy. This Imperiale is a Monocoque Carbon Fibre Frame with built-in strengtheners. The Bottom Bracket shell & Headtube are reinforced, with different sized bearing races on the headset (1 1/8"-1 1/4"). This provides stability in the lower part of the Headtube and BB shell – exactly where it is needed. This kit includes a set of Imperiale Monocoque Carbon Forks, an FSA 1 1/8" – 1 1/4" Headset and a Selcof Carbon Seatpost.
